2021 Suzuki Hayabusa Superbike Launched in India

The new 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa continues to battle against its key rival the Kawasaki Ninja ZX- 14R. It is offered at a whopping price of Rs 16.40 lakh (ex-showroom).

Suzuki Motorcycle has launched the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa in India. The 2021 Hayabusa being the third-generation sports is available at the price of ₹16.40 lakh. This new Hayabusa was introduced through a digital launch and the company has stated that it will be delivering the superbike next month onwards.

The online bookings of the new Hayabusa model have begun and currently, people will only be able to book the motorcycle online, due to COVID-19 guidelines set by the government. The amount for the new Hayabusa’s booking is set at ₹1 lakh.

The new generation Hayabusa is around ₹3 lakh expensive than the outgoing model. The previous generation Hayabusa was sold at ₹13.70 lakh (ex-showroom).

Managing Director at Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd, Koichiro Hirao shared his opinions on the current model. He said that amongst sport bike fanatics, Hayabusa has been the most preferred choice and the bike has managed to quench the speed and throttling thirsts of the bikers around the globe. The purpose of Hayabusa was to attain the balance of ultimate performance and comply with the BS6 emission norms. The sharp and elegant beauty of it has the eyes of all the bikers out there, who have been associated with the brand name since forever.  The ultimate design is bold and sharp in nature, hence making it the best sportbike model in the current times.

Design

The 2021 Hayabusa will be assembled at its facility in India. There seems to be an upgrade in its design and you see a new logo, revised tank and redesigned longer exhausts which are covered in chrome. The 7-spoke alloy wheels do come with a new design as well.

Colours

The 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa would be offered in 3 dual-tone colour choices. The colours are Pear Brilliant White with Metallic Mat Stellar Blue, Glass Sparkle Black with Candy Burnt Gold and Metalling Mat Sword Silver with Candy Daring Red. Such beautiful choices of colours definitely look appealing.

Specifications, Top Speed and Mileage

Hayabusa 2021 comes powered by a 1340cc four-cylinder, liquid cool engine. The engine is Euro 5 emission norms compliant, equivalent to the BS6 emission norms in India. This engine produces maximum power of 190 hp and peak torque of 150Nm.

The engine transfers the power to the wheels through a 6-speed transmission setup. Besides this, Suzuki Hayabusa 2021 can touch the top speed of 290 kmph alongside delivering an impressive fuel economy of 18.5 kmpl.
