DDG Car Collection – List of flamboyant cars owned by hip hop star

Known for their flamboyant lifestyles, American rappers usually have a larger-than-life image and are not shy in showing off their luxurious personalities. Their love for extravagant things, including top-of-the-line vehicles, is not hidden from anyone either. Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr, popularly known as DDG, is one of the latest and youngest inclusions on this list.

At a very young age, DDG has achieved the fame that many people can only dream of, and in 2020, he founded his record label “Zooted Ent”. The American hip-hop star has got a few cars to match his elusive stardom too, check out now DDG car collection:

Lamborghini Urus

Ever since Lamborghini launched Urus in 2018, the SUV has smashed all the records for the Sant’Agata Bolognese-based automaker as its highest-selling vehicle all around the world. The Lamborghini Urus has become the top-most preferred Lamborghini by various car enthusiasts, including celebrities. Many American celebrities have started adding Urus to their collection, and DDG is also one of them. DDG has got a grey-coloured Lamborghini Urus for himself.

The Aventador is nearing the end of its life cycle, and with that, the Urus is now the most powerful Lamborghini on sale, at least for the time being. Powering the Lamborghini Urus is a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine, which also powers a range of a few other sports and luxury SUVs like Porsche Cayenne, Bentley Bentayga and Audi RSQ8. This engine pumps out a maximum power of 640 PS and a peak torque output of 850 Nm and is mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox.

Rolls Royce Wraith

The Rolls Royce Wraith was the last two-door coupe produced by the British luxury car maker. The Wraith was recently pulled out of the global markets in 2022. Many prominent rappers around the world have shown their love for Rolls Royce Wraith, and DDG is one of them. He owns a Wraith in a very subtle shade of white, which gets a host of personalized elements on the inside of it.

The Rolls Royce Wraith was introduced in 2013 as a replacement for the ageing Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe. Based on the platform of a smaller car, Rolls Royce Ghost, the Wraith is a coupe version of the two-door convertible Rolls Royce Dawn. Naturally, the Rolls Royce Wraith shares its 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine with the Dawn. However, in the Wraith, the engine is in a higher state of tune, with it producing 571 PS of maximum power and 820 Nm of maximum torque output. Like in the Dawn and Ghost, the engine is paired to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.

Mercedes-AMG G 63

The Mercedes-AMG G 63 was the first-ever luxury vehicle bought by DDG soon after he acquired stardom. The black-coloured G 63 owned by him is a 2017 model, which is the first-generation W463 version of the SUV. This Mercedes-AMG G 63 was one of the most powerful versions of this go-anywhere SUV, which has both the capabilities of going over off-road terrains as well as going fast on straight stretches.

This 2017 version of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 has a 5.5-litre Biturbo V8 petrol engine, which is coupled to a 7G-Tronic automatic transmission and produces 570 PS of maximum power and 800 Nm of maximum torque output. The SUV is capable of hitting the 100 kmph mark from standstill in 5.4 seconds and a top speed of 210 kmph.

BMW i8

The BMW i8 is one of the most remarkable cars in the history of BMW, as it created a niche segment of hybrid supercars for everyday use. DDG has a BMW i8 which is finished in a shade of black, with the trademark blue accents for which the i8 was popular. This BMW i8 owned by DDG was the updated coupe version of the supercar, which was launched in 2018 and remained in production till 2020. The BMW i8 is no longer on sale and had no direct replacement either.

The BMW i8 has a very unique powertrain combination of a 1.5-litre inline-three turbocharged petrol engine and a hybrid synchronous motor. While the petrol engine produces 231 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque, the hybrid motor pumps out 143 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. In the combined form, this hybrid powertrain churns out a maximum power output of 374 PS and a peak torque output of 570 Nm. While the petrol engine powering the rear wheels is coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission, the motor powering the front wheels uses a 2-speed automatic transmission. It was the first-ever production car to feature laser headlamps.
