2018 Hyundai Elite i20 Facelift Overview:
Over the years, Hyundai introduced several firsts to the Indian automotive scene and in other instances redefined how car segments were perceived conventionally. One such instance was when the Korean automaker proposed the idea of a premium hatchback with the first generation i20. At the recently culminated 2018 Indian Auto Expo, the carmaker launched its latest iteration of the hatchback- the Elite i20 2018 facelift.
Price:
Hyundai has always had a tradition of charging a premium for its offerings over the competition. The petrol variant of i20 is Rs. 35,000 more expensive than its closest rival, the recently launched next-gen Maruti Swift. Surprisingly the base diesel variant is Rs. 14,000 cheaper than the Japanese hatchback and with a wide range of variants, consumers have plenty of options to shoes from.

Engine and Transmission
The new facelift carries forward the same engine options as the previous car, but the option of an automatic transmission in petrol variants is not on offer. We expect a petrol variant will be launched later in the car’s lifecycle.
