After updating the Fascino range with new features and mild-hybrid technology, Yamaha has revised the RayZR 125 with the same updates. The new Yamaha RayZR has been launched in three different variants like before, with the Street Rally version being the range topping variant like before.

The entry level drum brake variant comes in two color options of Metallic Black and Cyan Blue. The more premium disc brake variant can be had in these two color options and more, such as Matt Red, Racing Blue, Reddish Yellow Cocktail and MotoGP Edition. The range topping Street Rally version is offered in two paint schemes of Matt Copper and Sparkle Green.
2021 Yamaha RayZR 125 Hybrid: Design and Features
The new Yamaha RayZR 125 Hybrid continues to retain the design of the RayZR 125 launched last years with BS6 compliancy. However, this time around, the scooter has been spruced up with a few additional features, such as full LED headlamp, fully digital instrument console, multi-functional ignition keyhole with key shutter mechanism and Yamaha Connect X telematics. The Connect X has a list of connectivity solutions like answering back, riding history, locate my vehicle, hazard lights and parking history, all of which can be accessed via a dedicated smartphone application.
Apart from these new features, the Yamaha RayZR 125 Hybrid continues to get things like LED positioning lamp on a transparent handlebar visor, side-stand engine cut-off, front disc brake with unified braking system, pass flasher switch and 21-litres of under-seat storage compartment.
The Yamaha RayZR 125 Hybrid Street Rally version gets additional cosmetic bits like handlebar brush guards and metal plates on side body panels and different 110mm rear tyre with blocked tread pattern.
2021 Yamaha RayZR 125 Hybrid: Engine
The Yamaha RayZR 125 Hybrid is still powered by the same four stroke, single cylinder, air cooled, fuel injected, 125cc engine as before, which makes 8.2 PS @ 6,500rpm and 10.3 Nm @ 5,000rpm. However, like in the Fascino 125, the engine here now gets a new mild hybrid system, which facilitates automatic start-stop feature and gives an additional power boost to the scooter for 3 seconds. It also comes with a smart motor generator for silent and smooth starting operation.
