Maruti Suzuki Celerio X Launched At Rs 4.57 Lakh – Variants, Specs, Price List Detailed

The rugged Celerio looks quite handsome with signature crosshatch traits and a new orange shade.

The new Maruti Suzuki Celerio X has been finally launched in India at Rs 4.57 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The CelerioX is offered on all the petrol variants of the standard Celerio at an additional cost of Rs 7,500 – Rs 8,000. Interestingly, Maruti Suzuki has skipped the base variant, LXi version for the CelerioX. That said it gets automated manual transmission (AMT) too besides the manual one.

With respect to dimensions, the new Celerio X is 3,715 mm in length, 1,635 mm in width and 1,565 mm in height.

Maruti Celerio X Features

In the CelerioX, the changes are mainly cosmetic and revolve around the X-themed front grille graphics, plastic cladding around the car, blacked-out B-pillars and black garnish on roof and around fog lamps. The interiors are exactly the same as the standard Celerio with the exception of coloured accents. The newly added Paprika orange shade is exclusive to the CelerioX. Other Celerio X colours include Arctic White, Glistening Grey, Caffeine Brown and Torque Blue.

As the Japanese carmaker is now offering driver airbag standard in its new cars, the CelerioX gets it as standard as well. Additionally, buyers opting for the optional pack also get passenger airbag and ABS.

Maruti CelerioX Specifications

It continues to share the engine and transmission with the Celerio. The 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine puts out 68bhp of max power and a peak torque of 90Nm. It is either mated to a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed AMT. The new Maruti CelerioX delivers similar mileage of 23.1kmpl.
