After being in the buzz for quite a while, Bajaj Auto has launched the new Pulsar 125 Split Seat bike in India at the price of INR 79,090 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This motorcycle is based on its disc version, which is priced slightly cheaper at INR 75,462 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Looks
The all-new Pulsar 125 Split Seat looks very much similar to its standard 125cc sibling. However, slight changes are visible, especially the newly introduced split-seat setup along with split grab rails, graphics that look very much similar to those of Pulsar 150 and the engine cowl. Apart from the said alterations, the new Pulsar 125 Split Seat motorcycle is somewhat similar to its standard disc brake trim.
The headlamp cluster is the wolf-eyed and compliments the twin pilot lamps and there’s a 3D logo on the fuel tank that appeals similar to the standard version. The taillamps feature twin-strip LED and the black alloy wheels add more sportiness to the bike’s character. Alongside these design highlights, there’s a wide digital console that houses a trip meter and keeps you updated with the ride and speed stats.

Engine & Specifications
Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split Seat motorcycle borrows engine from its standard disc sibling. It is powered by a 124.4 cc fuel-injected air-cooled BS6 engine which produces out 16 PS of peak power at 8,500 rpm and 11 Nm of maximum torque at 6,500 rpm. This engine supplies power through a 5-speed gearbox.
The Pulsar Split Seat trim gets 240 mm disc brake at the front and 130 mm drum brake at the rear. To improve vehicle safety, Bajaj Auto has blessed this bike with an anti-skid braking system. Moreover, for a smooth ride, this motorbike is featured with an advanced suspension system, which includes front conventional telescopic forks and rear twin gas shock absorbers.
