Bounce Infinity E1 price india

Bounce Electric has launched the new Infinity E1 all-electric scooter in India. Essentially a renamed and slightly revised version of the 22Kymco i-Flow electric scooter launched in June 2019, the Bounce Infinity E1 is the first offering from the Bengaluru-based start-up company, after it has acquired 22Kymco. The prices for the Bounce Infinity E1 start at Rs 45,099 and is available in two versions. Bounce Electric has started accepting the bookings for this new electric scooter at Rs 499, while the deliveries are scheduled to take place from March 2022.

Prices and Variants

The new Infinity E1 can be had in one of two ways. Priced at Rs 45,099, the base version of the scooter comes without a functional battery and charger in its stock package. This version features a ‘battery as a service’ subscription program, in which the owner can swap his drained-out battery for a fully charged battery at a nominal cost at any of the Bounce Electric’s swapping facilities present across the country. With this version, the company is projecting running costs as low as 40 per cent of those of the conventional scooters which run on petrol.

For those who are not much convinced with this idea, Bounce Electric is also offering a version with a stock lithium-ion battery and a charger. Priced at Rs 68,999, this version comes with a removable battery, which can be charged anywhere. Both these versions of the scooter are eligible for the subsidies offered by central and various state governments for electric vehicles.

Design and Features

Having a design that is easy on the eyes, the Bounce Infinity E1 is available with a host of new generation highlights like LED projector headlamp, LED turn indicators and tail lamps, digital instrument console, alloy wheels and flush-fitting footpegs for pillion riders. The scooter properly feels like a product of today’s day and age with features like reverse mode, cruise control, tow alert and a drag mode. The scooter is also available with a smartphone application, through which you can track features like geofencing, charging status and vehicle health.

The scooter is available in five colour options, namely Sparkle Black, Pearl White, Sporty Red, Comed Grey and Desat Silver.

Powertrain

Powering the Infinity E1 is a BLDC electric motor, which makes 83 Nm of torque and helps the scooter attain a top speed of 65 kmph. The scooter claims a decent time of 8 seconds for the 0-40 kmph sprint. The higher-priced version of the electric scooter comes with a 2 kWh lithium-ion swappable battery, which claims a maximum riding range of 85 km and takes 4 to 5 hours to get fully charged. One can toggle between two riding modes on offer, namely ‘Eco’ and ‘Power’.

Chassis

Designed around a tubular frame, the Bounce Infinity E1 gets a suspension combination of hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and dual hydraulic coil springs at the back. The braking combination employed has single disc brakes at both ends, which get the assistance of a regenerative braking system.
