Flow Electric Scooter Launched In India At Rs 70,400 By Twenty Two Motors

Flow Electric Scooter by Twenty Two Motors launched in India at INR 70,400. The scooter has a top speed of 60 kmph and maximum travel range of 160 km in a single charge.

Emerging EV tech start-up, Twenty Two Motors today launched its awaited electric scooter – the Flow. Introduced at the Auto Expo 2018, the new electric scooter is priced at Rs 70,400. Dubbed as ‘smart’ scooter, Flow comes with numerous segment first features with one such being round-the-clock connectivity to Twenty Two’s cloud-based system which can be linked to a smartphone.

Flow is powered with a 2.8 PS (2.1kW) DC motor – one of the most powerful motors ever offered in an electric scooter in India. The lithium-ion battery can be fully charged in just 2 hours, moreover, with quick 10 minute charge one can cover a distance of good 20 km. Twenty Two Flow electric scooter is capable of attaining a top speed of 60 km per hour with a maximum travel range of 80 km.

To boost the frugality of the electric scooter, Flow features KERS (kinetic energy recovery system) technology which is usually seen on the Formula One cars. This tech helps increase the battery life by up to 6 percent. Furthermore, the feature list includes an all-LED headlight, taillight and turn indicators, reverse mode to help while parking (very helpful for lady riders), cruise control, hydraulic disc brakes, telescopic front forks and high tensile steel alloy wheels.

With the smart in-built Geo-fencing feature riders can track the Flow remotely. Apart from tracking, the scooter can also be shut down with the help of smart app in case of theft, or, if it has crossed a defined area without the consent of its owner. Based on the requirement, the ride modes given on the scooter can be altered in order to improve performance. Simple yet futuristic Flow electric scooter weighs 85 kg.
