While people around the globe will be celebrating World Environment Day, Hyundai too will be joining the movement in a very unique way of its own. The Korean carmaker has announced the ‘Save Water Challenge’ campaign on the eve of World Environment Day, which will be celebrated by its customers in all of its authorized workshops across the country.
As a part of this ‘Save Water Challenge’ campaign, Hyundai will be encouraging its customers to opt for dry wash, those who will be visiting the authorized workshops for servicing their cars. Given the fact that each dry wash cycle saves around 120 litres of water, Hyundai aims to contribute to the conservation of water, which in recent times is one of the biggest concerns related to the environment.
Hyundai will be celebrating this 15-day campaign from June 3, 2022, to June 17, 2022. Apart from encouraging its customers to dry wash, Hyundai will also reward them in various online and offline activities. Under these activities, customers opting for a dry wash will be directed towards the dry wash photo booth, which has been put up at the service receptions at all Hyundai authorized workshops. At this photo booth, customers can click their pictures and post them on their social media handles, while tagging @HyundaiIndia and adding two hashtags #SaveWater and #JalBachaKeChal.
In addition to this, customers will also be rewarded with Amazon gift vouchers worth Rs 2,000 to 100 lucky winners. All the customers visiting the authorized Hyundai workshops for servicing their cars on June 5, 2022 – World Environment Day – will also be benefited from a free Pollution Under Control (PUC) check and certificate.
Commenting on this new campaign by Hyundai, Mr Tarun Garg, Director, Sales, Marketing and Service, Hyundai India, said, “Hyundai is reinforcing its global vision of ‘Progress for Humanity’ by continuously working towards a greener and brighter tomorrow.
