Mahindra Roxor Off-Road Vehicle Unveiled; Expected To Launch This Month

Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) has revealed its off-highway vehicle, the Mahindra Roxor in the USA.

The Roxor SUV launch is confirmed to take place in any of these three days from March 18th to 20th, 2018. The Indian utility major has completely designed and developed this product in Auburn Hills, MI, USA by Mahindra Automotive North America (MANA).

Termed as the next big thing in the off-roading category, the all-new Mahindra Roxor has already created stir in the American market with a record 250 ‘A’ grade dealers signing to sell Roxor SUV. Mahindra is expected to launch this vehicle in India, most probably by the end of this year.

The Mahindra Roxor is available in 900 different shades which includes partial and complete camouflaged wraps. The new SUV is all about customization – one can get seats, interiors, ride heights, winches, side enclosures and all possible combinations personalized to suit ones requirement. The list is endless.

Mahindra Roxor engine option is expected to include a 2.5-litre, 62bhp turbo-diesel mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.

Unlike its regular showcasing at the Expos, this year’s Indian Auto Expo was an all-electric affair for the homegrown automaker. It displayed the Mahindra e-KUV100, Rexton, e2o NXT (e2o Plus facelift) and company’s first convertible SUV, the Stinger. And of course, its full electric e-Cosmo bus.

Mahindra Electric, the electric arm of the Mahindra Group is getting very aggressive on developing cleaner fuel technology. The automaker has planned to launch two new electric vehicles by 2019. One is the e-KUV100 and the other one is likely to be the e2o NXT.

Let’s see how the launch of Mahindra Roxor changes equations in the global market and especially, the Indian market.
