Maruti Suzuki Dealers Accepting New Swift 2018 Bookings; Unofficial Bookings Open!

Bookings of Maruti Suzuki Swift 2018 are open unofficially; The New Swift is expected to launch in India by Feb-end or early March 2018.

Maruti Suzuki Swift 2018 will be unveiled at the Auto Expo 2018 and is likely to launch in India by end of February or early March, this year. But the good news for the Swift 2018 buyers is that some of the Maruti Suzuki dealers have unofficially started accepting the bookings of the car. However, the auto-major, Maruti Suzuki hasn’t yet officially announced the bookings.

Dealers have also confirmed that the customers who have made the bookings for the outgoing model will get the new Swift model if they run out of the stocks of the current models, which already is the case at most of the Maruti Suzuki dealerships as the company has stopped the production of the outgoing model.

Not all, but some of the Maruti Suzuki dealers have started accepting fresh bookings for the New Maruti Swift, however, the booking amounts at these dealerships are different anywhere between Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 25,000 as there is no official announcement been made. The customers are promised to get the delivery of the Swift 2018 by Feb-end or by early March, once the car is out in the market for sale. And, the car is going to be delivered on the first come first serve basis.

The Maruti Swift 2018 is undoubtedly going to be the biggest launch this year and already the car has gained so much of media attention pre-launch. Under the hood, the Swift 2018 will continue with the existing 1.2L petrol and 1.3L diesel engines. But the important addition in the upcoming Swift will be the introduction of automatic transmission variants, like its sedan sibling the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire. It will share Maruti Baleno’s platform and will be 10-15 percent lighter than the outgoing model.

The New Swift will be much more captivating that its outgoing model and will receive changes both outside as well as inside. Sleek Headlights, Revised Front Grille, Sporty Bumpers, New Tail Lamps will be some of the major changes on the exterior. Besides, the alterations will also be seen inside the car. The cabin of the new Swift is anticipated to get the all-black theme along with a new dash, sporty steering wheel and revised instrument cluster. The top-end variants will get premium features like touchscreen infotainment supporting Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink.

In India, the New Swift will compete with cars like Tata Tiago, Honda Brio, Hyundai Grand i10, Ford Figo and Volkswagen Polo. The new Swift 2018 is expected to come in the price range of Rs. 5 lakh to Rs. 8 lakh (Ex-showroom).
