Toyota’s C+ Pod 2 seater ultra compact electric car is now available for car buyers in Japan. This amazingly compact yet beautiful 2 seater electric car was first introduced in December 2020 by the car manufacturer. It can make the car enthusiasts completely change their thinking towards automobiles currently available in the global markets.
Dimensions
Toyota C+ Pod electric car is smaller that India’s smallest passenger car Tata Nano. The dimensions are read as: length of 2490mm, width of 1290mm, height of 1550mm. The compactness of this electric car provides it with a turning radius of just 3.9mm.
Design
The design of Toyota C+ Pod is such that the charging inlet has been provided between the LED headlamps. The outer shell of the car is mainly made up of reinforced plastics. The impressions on the exterior are kept contemporary with offerings such as LED headlights and LED taillights.
Cabin
The cabin of this ultra compact electric car from Toyota measures 1100mm wide. As per Toyota, passenger and co-passenger can comfortably accommodate in the car. There is a dual tone dashboard on offer, coloured in black and white.
Range and Top Speed
Toyota C+ Pod comes fitted with 9.06kWh lithium-ion battery that offers phenomenally good drive range of 150 km. Alongside, the car doesn’t disappoint on the top speed part too; it can attain a top speed of 60 kmph.
Charging Time
This ultra compact EV can be fully charged in just 5 hours with a 200V/16A outlet. Using a 200V/6A outlet, it takes a total of 15 hours to charge the Toyota C+ Pod electric car.
