Given the tropical conditions of Indian subcontinent, the feature of ventilated seats in cars is nothing short of a boon. The ventilated seats offer a great convenience of keeping the occupants cool and comfortable even in hot climatic conditions.
There are many mass oriented cars in the segments below the luxury ones, which now come equipped with ventilated front seats. Following is a list of ten most affordable cars with ventilated seats:
Kia Sonet
The Kia Sonet has created a significant benchmark in the segment of sub-compact SUVs eith its immensely extensive list of features, with many of them being segment-first as well. One such feature is that of ventilated seats at front. The Kia Sonet comes with ventilated front seats in the higher spec HTX+ and GTX+ trims. Both these trims can be had with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, which makes 120 PS of power and 172 Nm of torque or a 1.5-litre diesel engine, which produces 100 PS of power and 240 Nm of torque.

Hyundai Verna
The Hyundai Verna is a pioneer in its segment when it comes to offering segment-first comfort and convenience features. With the currently available version of face-lifted third generation model, the Hyundai Verna came equipped with ventilated front seats. This feature is being offered only in range topping SX(O) variant, which is offered with all three powertrain options with which the Verna is available. The lineup includes a 1.5-litre petrol engine (115 PS/144 Nm), a 1.5-litre diesel (115 PS/250 Nm) and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine (120 PS/172 Nm)

Hyundai Creta
With its comprehensive list of features, the Hyundai Creta has been leading the segment ever since its launch. With the new second generation model, the Creta has become even better with more features on board, including ventilated front seats. Like the Verna, the Hyundai Creta too offers ventilated front seats in only the range topping SX (O) variant. Apart from the a 1.5-litre petrol engine (115 PS/144 Nm) and a 1.5-litre diesel (115 PS/250 Nm), the SX(O) variant is also offered with a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine (140 PS/242 Nm).

Kia Seltos
Unlike its distant sibling Creta, the Kia Seltos comes with ventilated front seats in more than one variant. The debut model from Kia in India, the Seltos comes with ventilated front seats in HTX+, GTX and GTX+ variants. The HTX+ variant can be had with a 1.5-litre petrol engine (115 PS/144 Nm) and CVT and a 1.5-litre diesel (115 PS/250 Nm) with 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. The GTX and GTX+ variants can be had with a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine (140 PS/242 Nm) with both 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT, with GTX+ also available with a diesel automatic combination.
Skoda Kushaq
The Skoda Kushaq has been brought in to challenge the supremacy of the Korean duo of Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. The range topping ‘Style’ variant of the Skoda Kushaq, which is being offered with both 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine (115 PS/178 Nm) and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine (150 PS/250 Nm), comes equipped with ventilated front seats. Apart from a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard, the Style variant of Skoda Kushaq also comes with 6-speed automatic gearbox for 1.0-litre engine and 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox for 1.5-litre engine options.

MG Hector
The MG Hector has been doing quite well in the Indian car market, owing to its good road presence and a huge list of features on offer. The SUV was updated in 2021 with mild cosmetic updates and additional features, one of which is ventilated front seats. This feature can be had in the range-topping Sharp variant, which can be had with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine (144 PS/250 Nm) available with either a 6-speed manual, CVT or a 6-speed DCT, or a 2.0-litre diesel engine (170 PS/350 Nm) offered only with a 6-speed manual.

Hyundai Elantra
Like its more affordable siblings from Hyundai, the Elantra too is a richly equipped car in terms of features it has on offer. The ventilated front seats too are part of the equipment list of the Hyundai Elantra, and can be had in its range topping SX(O) variant of it. This particular variant can either be had with a 2.0-litre petrol engine (152 PS/196 Nm) or a 1.5-litre diesel engine (115 PS/250 Nm), both of which come paired to a 6-speed automatic gearbox as standard in this variant.
Jeep Compass
The most affordable model from Jeep in India, the Compass SUV, is a highly recommended option in the SUV segment for the amazing driving experience and premium appeal it offers in and out. Out of all the comfort and convenience features, the ventilated front seats are being offered in the top-spec S variant. This variant is available with a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine (165 PS/250 Nm) with a standard 7-speed DCT or a 2.0-litre diesel engine (173 PS/350 Nm) available with both 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic gearbox.

MG Hector Plus
The MG Hector Plus was introduced in 2020 as a three-row version of the Hector, with an additional third row of seats, option of captain seats in second row, new headlamps, tail lamps, front and rear bumpers and different grille design. Like the five seater Hector, the seven seater MG Hector Plus too is available with ventilated seats in Sharp variant, which can be had with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine (144 PS/250 Nm) with either a 6-speed manual, CVT or a 6-speed DCT, or a 2.0-litre diesel engine (170 PS/350 Nm) offered with a 6-speed manual.
MG Gloster
The flagship offering from MG in India, the Gloster is a full size luxury SUV, which promises best in class list of comfort and convenience features. It is the only SUV in its segment to get ventilated front seats, which are there in its top-spec Sharp and Savvy variants. Both these variants come powered by a 2.0-litre twin turbo diesel engine, the power and torque outputs of which are rated at 218 PS and 480 Nm respectively. An 8-speed automatic gearbox is offered as standard.
