New Hyundai Elite i20 Facelift Launched at Auto Expo 2018 @ INR 5.35 lakh

New Hyundai i20 Facelift launched at Rs. 5.35 lakh. The 2018 i20 gets segment-first front & rear centre armrest and 6 airbags. Mileage figures are 19 kmpl for 1.2L petrol and 24.4 kmpl for 1.4L diesel.

The 2018 New Hyundai i20 Facelift is now launched in India at the price tag of Rs. 5.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company launched the car at the 2018 Auto Expo, right a day ahead of 2018 Maruti Suzuki Swift’s launch at the expo.

Exterior

The Hyundai i20 facelift gets a new black cascading grille at the front, LED Daytime Running Lights, revised headlights, new arrowhead fog lights at the front while the rear is also modified a bit with new features like integrated spoiler, new boot door, new taillamp cluster, matte black insert on the bumper and reflectors. Added to this, the styling of the new hyundai i20 facelift comes with a set of new diamond cut alloy wheels.

Features

Inside, there aren’t much changes to mention, except the new dual tone black and beige treatment and silver surround on the AC vents. The company has introduced the new i20 facelift with a new infotainment system that gets a bigger touch screen panel. 2018 Hyundai i20 comes with features like Segment-first Auto folding and unfolding ORVMs, 6 airbags, Hyundai Auto Link, Bluetooth Connectivity, navigation, Apple Carplay and Android Auto etc.

Engine, Specifications and Mileage

What it gets beneath the bonnet are the same 1.2 litre 83 ps Kappa Dual VTVT petrol engine linked to a 5 speed manual transmission, and a 1.4 litre 90 ps U2 CRDi diesel engine mated to a six speed manual transmission gearbox. In addition, 2018 i20 facelift will also get a 1.2 litre variant mated to a CVT in the month of May. Mileage figures for the 1.2 litre petrol and 1.4 litre diesel engines are 19 kmpl and 24.4 kmpl respectively.
