Renault, SIAM-SAFE kick start ‘National Road Safety Week’. The event will focus on encouraging road safety in India.
Renault, the popular European car brand in India, has started a week-long ‘National Road Safety Week’ campaign across all its dealerships in India to encourage road safety along with special deals on accessories and parts. The ‘National Road Safety Week’ is run in association with country’s apex automotive body, SIAM-SAFE (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers & Society of Automotive Fitness and Environment) from 23rd April, 2018 to 30th April, 2018. This year’s theme line is ‘Sadak Suraksha-Jeevan Raksha’.
Under this week-long initiative, all the Renault dealerships countrywide would encourage road safety awareness through road signs, safety banners, pamphlets etc. At the dealerships, road safety films will also be screened in the customer lounges. Another excitement will be rallies that will encourage more people to obey traffic rules. Other than this, Renault will also organize car safety checkups and will offer discounts on accessories, safety parts and tyres to its customers.
The objective behind National Road Safety Week is to promote road safety and make people realize the importance and need to follow traffic rules, including speed limits, traffic lights, wearing seat-belts while driving a car and pedestrian crossing rules, amongst others.
In the recent years, Renault has been keenly focused on building a high base in the Indian subcontinent. After the highly successful Duster in the SUV segment, the hatchback KWID has already created its own identity in the top-selling entry-level hatchback segment.
