Overview
Alongside the UM Renegade Duty S, the American cruiser manufacturer also introduced the more premium UM Renegade Duty Ace variant lately. The bike was unveiled at the 2018 Indian Auto Expo. Duty Ace is offered with a sportier design and paint scheme. The motorcycle features a café-racer meets street-rod like design language and is the sportier model of the two bikes both in terms of aesthetics and performance features.
Price
UM motorcycles announced that the sports cruiser will be launched at a price tag of Rs. 1.29 Lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi).

Features
Like the Renegade Duty S, the Duty Ace is also offered with a new analogue/digital instrument cluster. The unit features a gear position indicator, odometer and fuel level indicator. At the front, we find a halogen headlight and the rear gets an all-new taillight cluster design. The front forks also get LED strips just like Duty S, this feature is designed to enhance visibility at night.
Engine and Specifications
Renegade Duty Ace shares the same powerplant as the Duty S. The 223cc motor produces a peak power output of 16bhp and 17 Nm of torque. The engine is oil-cooled and comes coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The motor uses a chain drive mechanism to send power to the rear wheel.

Mileage
UM Renegade Duty Ace comes with an ARAI claimed mileage stat of 41kmpl. The 10-litre fuel tank now features an all new paint scheme and offers 410km of riding range.
Braking and Handling
The new bike will be offered with a dual-disc brake setup. The front alloy gets a two-Piston 280 mm caliper disc brake and a 220mm disc at the rear. In comparison to its standard sibling, Ace is a step up as the Renegade S only gets drum brakes at the rear wheel.

Renegade Ace rides on 17-inch alloys at the front and the 15-inch alloys at the rear.
Colours
The motorcycle gets a new headlamp which is encased in a cowl. A sleeker front mudguard and a smaller contrasting tan coloured seat are also on offer. The seat gets a cowl which can be removed to accommodate a pillion. The panels feature a silver-black dual tone paint scheme and contrasting red pinstripe accents can be found across the bodywork.

Renegade Duty Ace will rival Bajaj Avenger, Suzuki Intruder and Royal Enfield classic 350.
